_thefashioncollectiveberlin was formed by six Berlin-based designers in 2007 with the aim of bringing together new young talent from Germany and strengthening their position on the international market by functioning as a collective whole.
As initiator and project manager of „thefcb“, Carola Plöchinger has assumed all the organisational work, which included setting up the basic idea, selecting the designers, creating a concept for the graphics, choosing and contracting PR agencies and show production companies, organising a common showroom in cooperation with Rendez-Vous Paris and ensuring its financial backing with the grateful support of the Berlin Senate. |
